Ida J. – I bought a multi-function printer thinking that it would take the place of a fax machine. I still have to use the clunky Microsoft interface for this, plus the scanner does not work very well. Also, I am very disappointed, because the scanner does not work with negatives or other types of film. This should be made clear on the box, since many people don't know that it is not possible to buy a negative scanning attachment for this device.

no more durable than any of the others.

I was hoping to fit this monster in the same space as a regular inkjet printer, and was sadly disappointed. What is the point of having a “space saving” multi-function device that has such a huge footprint?

Overall, the Brother DCP-7065DN is suitable for medium duty printing and scanning. Combined with multifunction capabilities, high print speeds and Ethernet capabilities this is an excellent machine for the home user and small and medium sized businesses.
